The place
Rustic by design, not by accident
The Desert Lily is a handcrafted compound in the Joshua Tree Highlands — adobe and bottle walls, boulder landscape, panoramic mountain views and five acres of it to yourself. It is lived-in and full of character rather than a sleek modern build, and that is the point.
Six bedrooms sleep twelve across six queen beds. The Great Room has a fireplace and a dining table made from homestead wood over a hundred years old. Outside there is a pool, a hot tub heated all year, hammocks, shaded patios and a firepit ringed by handmade bottle walls.
